A comparative study on the extent of practicing probing thinking among students of the College of Education for Girls/Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

Abstract

The researcher used the descriptive approach and the survey method, and the research sample was selected using a comprehensive, intentional inventory method. The research included students from the College of Education for Girls/Department of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Mosul, who numbered (106) students. The researcher used the probing thinking scale prepared by ( Al-Kinani and Al-Shammari, 2018), where the questionnaire consisted of (46) items, and the questionnaire items were answered according to three answer alternatives (applies to me, applies to me sometimes, does not apply to me).

The data was processed statistically using percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, alpha coefficient, analysis of variance, and LSD test using the statistical program (SPSS) to analyze the data
