Abstract

The importance of research lies in developing special exercises whose primary goal is not spending long training times in exercises in general, but rather the type of exercise that works to directly build the athletic level and creates harmony between the form of performance, especially in those activities that are linked to devices, tools, and the mechanics of muscular work governed by the nature of physical laws. The research problem boils down to answering two questions: How are special exercises for the leading leg developed according to bio-kinematic indicators? Would these exercises lead to improving the technical performance of the step of crossing the barrier and improving the overall performance, as the researcher used the experimental method in the style of two equal groups (experimental and control) and the research community was represented by students from Al-Qalam University College - Department of Physical Education, the second stage, who numbered 100 students, as they were chosen from them. The sample was randomly assigned to (20) students, who were divided into two groups (10) for the experimental group and the same for the control group. In light of the statistical treatments for the research variables, the researcher reached the most important conclusions, which is that the construction of special exercises must be based on prior detection of the relationship between the most important mechanical indicators and the stages of performance. The experimental group outperformed itself by (100%) and the control group by (81.25%) for the pre and post measurements due to the effect of special exercises.
