Abstract

The research aims to prepare an educational curriculum using basketball skills to develop some motor abilities for people with mild mental disabilities and to know its effect on the selected sample, as the researchers assumed that there were statistically significant differences between the pre and post tests on the research sample.

The research community consisted of 20 male and female students with simple mental retardation, and (5 female students) were excluded because they were not included in the program, and five male students were excluded because they did not continue and adhere to the curriculum, so (10 students) remained the research sample.

One of the most important conclusions of the research was that the educational and applied program had a positive impact on the development and development of the motor abilities of children with mild mental disabilities.
