Psychological model of healthy and disabled basketball players (paralysis and amputation)

Abstract

The research included the introduction and the importance of the research: in which the importance of sports psychology in general and basketball in particular was addressed, and the effectiveness of basketball for the disabled was also addressed.  As for the research problem, it was to Identify the psychological model for each category of healthy and handicapped basketball players (paralysis and amputation).

It also included the research methodology and field procedures, as the researcher used the experimental approach and touched on the research sample, who are the healthy and disabled players of the national basketball teams (paralysis and amputation), and touched on the tools which used in the research and the test used and statistical methods.

   And then the results of the research were presented and discussed, as the results were presented in the form of tables and then discussed.  The research also contained conclusions and recommendations, the most important of which were

• There is a development in the post-tests for both the control and experimental groups.
